The Pow-Wow package includes three nights lodging, two days of skiing in mechanized lift and 8 meals (including dinner the night of arrival and breakfast on the morning of your departure) .
The day on the slopes begins with an American-style breakfast or continental, served at 7:30. Guests then make their way to the Presbytery (service center) for 8:30. A short briefing on the course of the day as well as the equipment (DVA, shovel, probe and backpack) will be given. Depending on the number of participants, the motorized vehicule used will either be snowmobiles or a cat-ski.
The ratio is approximately one guide to four customers. Departure is set at 9h00am, towards Porphyre of York mountain. Due to the fact that York mountain is further, lunch is offered during the day, and you won’t be coming back to the Chic-Chac to eat. Lunch includes a juice, a sandwich, a granola bar and some biscuits.
It is always advisable for the greediest to carry your own personal snacks. During a classis day at Porphyre, expect to return for lunchtime(12:00 to 12:30) at the Chic-Chac. However, it is optional, depending on the decision of the majority of the group, otherwise the formula box lunch is also provided. The ski day ends at around 15:30 depending on time and the brightness of the season. Then the guests are expected for dinner at the inn, which is served from 18:00. The dinner includes a starter, main meal and dessert (coffee or tea included).
